Website Terms of Use

The terms that govern your use of this website.

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of www.gordonandbridge.com (the “Website”). The Website is operated by Dr Marilisa Conese, trading as Gordon & Bridge, of via Macchie 31/8, 70128 Bari, Italy (“Gordon & Bridge”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Contact: info@ gordonandbridge.com

By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use it. These terms govern the informational Website only. Consultancy engagements, workshops, courses, memberships, digital products, bookings or purchases may be subject to separate terms, an order form or a signed agreement. If there is a conflict, the specific agreement governs the relevant service or product.

2. Website availability and changes

We may update, suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Website without notice. We do not promise that the Website, any content or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors. We may change these terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after the change means the revised terms apply from their stated effective date, subject to applicable law.

3. Information only — no professional advice

Website content is provided for general information and education. It is not tailored advice and is not legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, clinical, psychological or other regulated professional advice. It should not be used as the sole basis for a business, employment, health, safety, compliance, investment or technology decision.

You should obtain suitably qualified advice and independently evaluate information before acting. Reading content, downloading a resource, subscribing, sending an enquiry or attending a general public session does not create a consultant–client, adviser–client, fiduciary or other professional relationship. Such a relationship arises only under an express written engagement accepted by Gordon & Bridge.

4. AI and behavioural-science content

Artificial-intelligence systems, research, regulation and industry practice change quickly. Behavioural-science findings may be context-dependent, probabilistic and subject to methodological limits. Although we take reasonable care, we do not warrant that Website content is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for human oversight, due diligence, testing, impact assessment, legal compliance and decisions made using any information from the Website.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, Gordon & Bridge or its licensors owns all intellectual-property rights in the Website and its content, including text, articles, reports, graphics, photographs, illustrations, audiovisual material, branding, logos, downloads, training materials, course materials, assessments, tools, templates, taxonomies, frameworks, methodologies, prompts, models and the selection and arrangement of content.

You may view the Website and print or download a reasonable extract for your own internal, non-commercial reference, provided that you:

  • do not modify the extract or remove any attribution, copyright, trade mark or rights notice;
  • do not use any image, graphic, video or audio separately from its accompanying context;
  • identify Gordon & Bridge and any stated author as the source; and
  • do not make the extract available as a competing product, training resource, database or systematic collection.

Except as expressly permitted or allowed by mandatory law, you must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, translate, adapt, create derivative works from, publicly display, scrape, text-and-data mine, use to train or fine-tune an artificial-intelligence model, or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission. This restriction does not exclude any exception or limitation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

“Gordon & Bridge”, its visual identity and associated logos are trade marks or branding assets of Gordon & Bridge. No licence to use them is granted.

6. Downloads, courses and tools

A download, course, membership, assessment or tool may carry additional licence terms. Unless those terms state otherwise, access is personal to the purchaser or authorised organisational users, non-transferable and for internal use only. You must not share credentials, redistribute materials, remove notices, resell access, upload materials to a shared repository or use them to create a competing offering.

These Website Terms are not consumer sales terms. Before selling to consumers, Gordon & Bridge must publish product-specific terms addressing pre-contract information, price, payment, digital-content functionality and compatibility, performance, cancellation or withdrawal rights, statutory conformity rights and complaint handling.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person’s rights;
  • introduce malware, malicious code, harmful material or excessive traffic;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, server, accounts, data or connected systems;
  • probe, scan, bypass or defeat security or access controls, except under an expressly authorised security programme;
  • scrape, crawl or extract content or data at scale without written permission, except to the extent mandatory law prevents restriction;
  • impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliation or submit false or misleading information;
  • use contact details obtained from the Website for unsolicited marketing; or
  • use the Website in a way that damages, disables, overloads or interferes with its operation or another user.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or where necessary to protect the Website, users or third parties.

8. User submissions

You are responsible for information you submit. You must have the right to provide it and must not submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, confidential or malicious material. Do not submit sensitive personal data or third-party confidential information through general Website forms.

You retain ownership of your submission. You grant Gordon & Bridge a non-exclusive licence to use, store, copy and communicate it only as reasonably necessary to respond, operate the Website, provide requested services, comply with law and protect legal rights. Separate engagement terms will govern client materials.

9. Third-party links and embedded services

The Website may link to or embed third-party websites, platforms, publications or tools. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices and are not responsible for them. You should review the third party’s terms and privacy information.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any mandatory consumer right.

If you use the Website in the course of business, then to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”; implied warranties, conditions and representations are excluded;
  • Gordon & Bridge is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, reputation, opportunity or data, or for indirect or consequential loss;
  • Gordon & Bridge is not liable for a decision or action based on Website content, AI-related information, behavioural-science material, an article, external resource or third-party service;
  • Gordon & Bridge is not liable for a virus, malicious code, distributed denial-of-service attack, technical interruption, incompatibility or loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Website, except to the extent caused by a failure for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded; and
  • Gordon & Bridge’s total aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of the free informational Website is limited to €100.

The exclusions and cap above do not govern paid consultancy or products where separate terms apply. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your mandatory statutory rights, and exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by the law applicable to you.

11. Privacy and cookies

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. The Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies. These documents form part of the Website’s legal information but do not create contractual rights beyond those provided by law.

12. Governing law and courts

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by Italian law. If you use the Website in the course of business, the courts of Bari, Italy have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a written agreement states otherwise. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings in any court available under applicable consumer law.

13. General

If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be treated as modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if that is not possible, deleted; the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. No person other than you and Gordon & Bridge has a right to enforce these terms, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
